Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness of a ride, driveability and running safety, by converting detection signals of car speed, steering angle, brake and deflection load into a current signal with a normal shock absorber, changing a dividing effect with a shock absorbing controller and concurrently providing the shock absorbing controller independently of four wheels. CONSTITUTION:Each signal of speed increase detection of a car speed detector 4, steering angle detection of a steering angle detector 5, deflection load detection of lateral and longitudinal deflection load detectors 6, 8 and brake detection of a brake detector 7 is input to a central processing unit 9. The central processing unit 9 decides a shock absorbing characteristic in accordance with each input signal to output a control command of each shock absorbing controller 11 to a current controller 10. The current controller 10 controls each shock absorber controller 11 on the basis of said command. In this constitution, a shock absorbing effect and running stability suitable for a driving condition can be obtained without sacrificing comfortableness of a rice.
