Although the toner attracred with a positive electric field of the electrode 6 is transposed on the paper 4, since the background of the recording paper 4 is charged negative, the toner charged negative does not attach to the paper 4. The paper 4 formed with a toner image is de-charged with a de-charger 7 and fixed with a fixing roller 9.
