Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform measurement in a secured state by providing a testing device for the leakage of gas supplied to the burner of an atomic absorbing and analyzing device. CONSTITUTION:Gas is supplied from an intake 1, then, supplied from an outlet 7 to a burner after passing throug a solenoid valve 2, a pressure switch 3, a gas control part 4, and solenoid valves 5 and 6. When a power switch 8 is turned on, an electric circuit is conducted to supply the gas to the gas intake 1, then, pressure is applied to the pressure switch 3, which starts timers 9, 10 and 15 and also operate a relay 16. The timer 10 operates firstly to close the solenoid valve 5, and the timer 9 operates succeedingly to close the solenoid valve 2. When the gas confined between the solenoid valves 2 and 5 does not leaks, a relay 17 is energized to open the solenoid valve 6, and then the gas is supplied from the outlet 7 to the burner. If any gas leaks within the set time of the timer 15, the pressure switch 3 operates a switch 14 to hold the solenoid valve 6 closed.
