Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce a stray capacity of a semiconductor radioactive ray detector with a simple structure by connecting an electrode lead wire directly to a semiconductor detector without fixing the detector on a mounting base. CONSTITUTION:Electrode lead wires 3 are secured with fixing agent 4 to the ends of thin Au and Al films 5, 6 operating also as electrodes provided in contact with both front and back surface of a semiconductor detector 1, and a coating agent 7 is covered on the overall surface while exposing the lead wires 3. Thus, the detector is formed, and when the detector is associated with an X-ray computer tomograph or the like as an application, the detector is used as follows: The detectors 1 are respectively inserted between collimators 9 disposed at the prescribed interval in a housing 8, X-rays emitted to the detectors are detected, and signals thus obtained are fed to an l/V converter of the rear stage. In this manner, the structure is simplified, and the density of the apparatus employing the detectors can be enhanced.
