Abstract
PURPOSE:To work the surface of the work efficiently by laser while forming a laser light absorbing film in the stage of working the work with the laser by combining a spray nozzle for laser absorbing liquid with a laser working nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A laser working nozzle 1 and a spray nozzle 2 for laser absorbing liquid are disposed coaxially, and while an assist gas 6 is introduced through a gas inlet 6, laser 3 is focused with a lens 4 onto the surface of the work 5, whereby said surface is worked. In this case, laser absorbing liquid 7 is introduced through an inlet 21, and is once put into the liquid reservoier 22 in the nozzle 2. Upon ejection of the assist gas, it is sprayed as mist-like laser absorbing liquid 71 onto the surface to be worked of the work 5, whereby a laser absorbing liquid film 72 if formed thereon. The rate of spraying of said liquid is adjusted by adjusting the gap between the nozzle 1 and the nozzle 2 by the rotation of an adjusting screw 8.
