Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an actuator operated by fluid pressure which can always operate at a stable speed by disposing a pressure regulator in the interior of an exhaust pipeline of a fluid pressure source which is controlled according to the pressure of in-and-out pipeline of the actuator. CONSTITUTION:In a control unit 1 for an air cylinder 100, a pressure regulator 4 and a four-way switching valve 3 are disposed in the interior of a conduit pipe 10 connected to an air pressure source 2, an output port of the valve 3 being connected to each port 103, 104 of the air cylinder 100 through conduit pipes 11, 12 having throttle devices 8a, 8b interposed therein. The pressure regulator 4 has a pilot pressure chamber connected to the conduit pipes 11, 12 through pilot conduit pipes 14, 15 having open-and-shut valve 6a, 6b are controlled through a control circuit 70 according to output of a pair of microswitches 71, 72 for prescribing the upper and lower stroke limits of the air cylinder 100.
