Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain easily good image quality, by forming a specified relation between a magnetic flux density and a peripheral speed and a specified relation between the magnetic flux density and a carrying speed of a developer on a surface of a developing sleeve, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A toner is supplied from a supply hopper 4, as occasion demands by rotating a supply roller 5. A developer 3 of the supplied toner is stirred by a stirring roller 6 and is sucked onto a developing sleeve 7 and carried by rotation in a direction shown with an arrow on the sleeve. It is arranged the rlation which, between a magnetic flux Gf on a surface of the sleeve owing to a magnetic roller 8 and a peripheral speed of a photoreceptor, Gf is equal to etaXV[G; Gauss], is formed. Here a constant of proportionality eta of 1-10[G. S/mm.]is taken. By this way, good image quality is obtained easily and effectively.
