Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a light and small-sized captioned compressor by reducing outside diameters of a rotor scroll and a stator scroll on the basis of the relation between centers of a swirl and a bed plate or the like. CONSTITUTION:The circle center (a) of a bed plate 20a of a rotor scroll 20 is eccentric to the center (b) of a swirl 21. The circle of the above-said bed plate 20a is shaped into the minimum one containing the swirl 21. It is eccentric to the center B of a bed plate 22a of a stator scroll 22. These two scrolls are assembled so that the center B of a swirl 23 of the stator scroll 22 may agree with the center of the shaft of an electric motor. When these two scrolls are combined, lap differences cC, dD, eE, and fF between the bed plate 20a of the rotor scroll and the bed plate 22a of the stator scroll are reduced. The reduction of outside diameters of both scrolls permits to obtain a small-sized and light compressor as a whole.
