Abstract

PURPOSE:To release a residual quantity detection signal immediately after supplying a developer to form a picture immediately, by providing a detecting means for the residual quantity of the developer, a developer supplying means, and a means which detects the supplying operation due to the developer supplying means on the basis of the residual quantity detection. CONSTITUTION:An agitating means 6 where bar-shaped members 6b are blocked on a rotation shaft 6a is provided in a vessel 1 for the purpose of preventing the deflection of a developer T, and a detector 7 for the residual quantity of the developer is attached to the side wall in the lower part of the vessel 1.
