Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of control members and to provide an electronic timepiece provided with a control system which is easily understood, by an operator , by a method wherein a display switching push-button and a calling push- butten of a correction digit selecting condition are controlled through setting of a predetermined program and by means of a selection control and a correction control. CONSTITUTION:A time display part 2, an illuminating lamp 3, a selection control push-button 4 for switching a display of a display part 2 and calling a correcting digit selection condition, and a correcting control push-button 5 for correcting a selected correcting digit are mounted to a digital electronic timepiece 1. An output of a crystal oscillating circuit 10 is inputted to a clocking circuit 11, and a display circuit 13 displays a time via a display switching circuit 12. A correcting input control circuit 14 transmits a correcting signal, following the operation of the control push-button 5, to a selected correcting digit, a program circuit 15 stores a program for switching a display and calling a correction digit selecting condition, and selection is made through the operation of the control push-button 4.
