Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the core bar for molding the steering wheel by a method wherin the outer film layer and inner film layer of the steering wheel are simultaneously molded with different resins. CONSTITUTION:Individual hoppers 3 and 4 are provided at two molding cylinders 1 and 2 respectively. Polymide containing carbon fibers is charged from the hopper 3 and polypropylene is charged from the hopper 4. The materials charged from said hoppers are successively fed by means of screws 5 and 6 respectively through a flow timing controlling valve for core part resin 7 and a flow timing controlling valve for outer part resin 8 from a nozzle 9 into a metallic mold 10 in order to form the steering wheel 12 therewithin.
