Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate effect of the ununiformity of two dimensional reading system, by magnifying the level of detected ununiformity for a prescribed time, determining a threshold value for binary coded reading signals, and forming a binary picture signal with the optimum threshold value. CONSTITUTION:An original read signal is given to an input terminal 9, and the signal is converted into a binary signal corresponding to black and white with a threshod value signal given from a threshold value generating circuit 10 at a binary circuit 11 and outputted from an output terminal 12. The threshold value signal outputted from the said circit 10 is not a constant level signal, but formed based on the original read signal given from the terminal 9. Thus, the circuit 10 is connected to the terminal 9, the unniformity is picked up from the original reading signal to be given to generate the threshold value for binary coding.
