Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a Lissajous' figure in display scale by projecting a light flux to a oscillating mirror that makes simple harmonic motion in the direction of X-axis, and after converting the oscillation light into light making simple harmonic motion in the direction of Y-axis using plural reflecting mirrors, combining the simle harmonic motion in the direction of X-axis. CONSTITUTION:A laser 2 oscillated from a laser oscillating device 1 is projected to the first oscillating mirror 3 which oscillates in the direction of X-axis, and the reflected beam is projected to the first reflecting mirror 4 that is installed at obtuse angle to the incident light and with inclination to a plane. The reflected beam becomes simple harmonic motion in the direction of Y-axis through the second reflecting mirror 5 provided with elevation angle to the axis of incident beam. When the beam is projected to the second oscillating mirror 6, simple harmonic motion in the direction of X-axis is combined and a Lissajous' figure is obtained on the projection plane. By changing the oscillation frequency and phase relation of the first oscillating mirror 3 and the second oscillating mirror 6 according to ambient condition such as temperature etc., multi- patterns can be obtained.
