Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an exposure monitoring device enabling the execution of an accurate safety measure, by displaying the remaining time wherein a human operation can be performed based on the state of radiation exposure. CONSTITUTION:A measured value obtained by a exposure rate measure 11 of the main body 1 of a monitor is integrated by an integrating circuit 12 and displayed in an exposure display unit 13, while the difference from a planned amount exposure set in a planned exposure setting unit 16 is calculated by a subtraction circuit 15. When the difference becomes zero or negative, an alarm is generated and given through the intermediary of an alarm unit 19. Simultaneously, the processing of dividing a positive difference value obtained by the circuit 15 by the measured value of the measurer 11 is conducted by a division circuit 20 and the remaining time wherein a human operation can be conducted is also displayed continuously and precisely in an operable-time display unit 2. Accordingly, an exposure monitoring device thus obtained enables the execution of an accurate safety measure even when the state of exposure changes sharply.
