Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a protecting circuit that has no overheat although an overcurrent lasts long and can attain the miniaturization of a device, by using an output intermitting circuit containing a means which integrates the overcurrent signal and a time circuit which starts with the integral signal. CONSTITUTION:An output intermitting circuit contains a means 14 which integrates an overcurrent signal and a time circuit 15 which starts with the integral signal. For instance, a constant current circuit consisting of an overcurrent detecting resistance 10, an overcurrent signal detector 11, an amplifier 12 and a control transistor 5 is set to a constant voltage circuit comprising an output voltage detector 7, a comparing amplifier 9, a reference power supply 8, a control transistor, etc. Furthermore, an output intermitting circuit consists of an overcurrent signal detector 13, an integral network 14, a time circuit 15, an intermediate amplifier 16 and a control transistor 5. Thus the output current is cut off when an overcurrent flows, and self-resetting is ensured in a certain period of time.
