Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a corrosion-proof heat exchanger for collecting heat of exhaust gas by forming projecting parts at the upper ends of vertically arranged heat transmission pipes and about the tube holes of tube plates in a hornlike shape so that peeling and stagnation will not occur in the exhaust gas flowing into the heat transmission pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The tip end of an exhaust gas inlet side of each of the heat transmission pipes 1 vertically arranged with a container is widened in the hornlike shape and the tube plate 4 is inserted into the horn part 3 of the heat transmission pipe 1. The tube plate 4 is provided with a projecting member 5 which projects like a horn along the configuration of the horn part 3. Then the horn part 3 is welded to the tube plate 4 through a welding part 15.
