Abstract
PURPOSE:To speed up the process of covering a soft tube on an electric wire, etc., by providing an automatic wire insertion device and an automatic transferring device for the soft tube in a soft tube covering device. CONSTITUTION:A soft tube 3 is fitted on the periphery of a soft tube tube guide 15 by a transferring device, and then an electric wire 2 is supplied from the trumpet-like portion 14A of an electric wire insertion guide 14 and inserted into the soft tube 3. After separating a clamp 16 and the electric wire insertion guide 14 from the transferring device 13, the end of the soft tube 3 is clamped by an auxiliary clamp 16A, and the electric wire insertion guide 14 is drawn out. Lastly, the soft tube 3 is clamped by the auxiliary clamp 16A and the clamp 16, and then the electric wire 2 is inserted by a given length into the soft tube 3 and fixed. Afterwards, the clamp 16 is removed and an electric wire covered with soft tube is taken out.
