Abstract

PURPOSE: To discharge purified air into the atmosphere, by sucking an air mixed with paint mist from a chamber and washing it by jetting water at the entrance and exit of a material to be painted of the painting chamber for continuous spray-coating.
CONSTITUTION: Air C in a chamber and air A in the open air are sucked from suction ports 1 and 2 and flow into a chamber II in which the air pressure is lowered by injection of water from a nozzle 5. The water caputures fine particles of paint and falls down to be stored at the bottom of a water gathering tank 7. The purified air is introduced into an air exhausting chamber to remove the fine particles of water contained in the air by an eliminator 9. The waste water containing the paint in the tank 7 is sent therough a pipe 10, and flows through respective chambers partitioned by zigzag arranged buffle plates to separate the paint P risig in the water from the water W. The water W is sent to the nozzle 5 to be reused for injection. On the other hand, the paint is removed by hand regularly.
