Abstract

PURPOSE:To connect respective equipments by a single interface line by detecting data transmission from a terminal equipment ending then supplying a start signal to the adapter of a trailing stage. CONSTITUTION:When an actuation discriminating circuit 23 discriminates actuation from a host system, its output is supplied to a switch circuit 26, which corrects input lines 21 and 22 to output lines 27 and 32 to supply a start signal to a terminal equipment connected to the output lines 27 and 32. When the terminal equipments returns gauge examination data and a space continuation code through the circuit 26, and a space detecting circuit 24 performs time monitoring and resets the circuit 23 on the ending of a space to release the circuit 26. Simultaneously, a switch circuit 30 is controlled to connect the input lines 21 and 22 to output lines 31 and 33, thereby supplying an actuation signal to succeeding adapters. Consequently, respective equipments are connected via a single interface line, and the operation efficiency of cable construction is improved without connecting lines in a bundle.
