Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the turning position of a turning member in an easy and accurate way, by providing plural cams which are turned by the rotation of the turning member plus the switches which are operated by the displacement of the circumference surface of the cam. CONSTITUTION:For a VTR loading device, the worm wheels 42 and 43 are rotated counterclockwise and clockwise respectively when a motor 39 is rotated by an operation for reproduction. As a result, the loading arms 31 and 32 are rotated counterclockwise and clockwise respectively. Thus a tape is led out of a cassette to be wound around a head drum. The turning positions of the wheels 42 and 43 are detected via the switches 78 and 79 which are operated by the arms 70 and 71 having the rollers 76 and 77 which are allowed to press-contact via the springs 74 and 75 with the cams 46 and 47 provided to the wheels 42 and 43 concentrically in one body. The motor 39 is stopped in accordance with the positions of the wheels 42 and 43. Thus the positions of the turning members 42 and 43 are detected in an easy and accurate way.
