Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a compact system for vertically conveying flat objects having projections shaped like flanges and suchlike, which enables the addition of other operations in the middle of conveyance, by constituting the system in such a manner that a table on which said objects are stacked is raised and lowered intermittently by one stroke and in cooperation with this movement the object supporting members are moved onto and out of the path of vertical movement of the objects. CONSTITUTION:When the object to be conveyed C is placed on a table 5 and a cam 7 is rotated, the table 5 makes one up and down motion by the upward and downward stroke determined by the configuration of the cam 7. When the table 5 moves upward, the object to be conveyed C is also raised by rotating the supporting piece 13 of the upper and lower supporting means 18 about a pin 14 against the tension of a spring 16 by the flange C'. When the flange C' has passed the supporting piece 13, said supporting piece 13 returns to its original position by the tension of the spring 16 and supports the flange C' from below.
