Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely detect a rotating position, a rotating angle, and number of revolutions, by providing a specific signal source to a plurality of equally divided circumference of a rotating body and outputting a signal corresponding to each signal source only at a designated position. CONSTITUTION:On a concentric circles having four different diameters with a discoidal rotating body 1, 1, 2, 4 and 8 slits 2 are arranged from the inner to the outer circumference and the rotating body 1 is equally divided into 16 segments to form 16 addresses.
