Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve endurance and cutting performance of a grinding sheet made of a metal bond holding grains by constituting the metal bond from sintered body of the grains and metal powder which can be sintered. CONSTITUTION:The base portion of a sintered body 1 of a metal bond and a metal net 2 are integrated with each other by sintering. Also, a layer 3 of adhesives is applied or press attached to the rear side of the metal net 2 and protected by a parting sheet of paper 4. Also, grains applied to this metal bond are of diamonds, cubic system boron nitride, silicon carbide, almina, titan carbide, etc. This metal bond is a sintered metal powder which is mainly composed of copper, nickel, cobalt or iron. Thus, the proper selection of the metal bond according to the application thereof can display excellent endurance and cutting performance.
