PURPOSE:To display the relative position of the own ship with respect to the other target and the position on a navigation chart clearly, by reading out the memorized position information of the own ship, overlapping the informations on the targets around the ship, and displaying the position. CONSTITUTION:The echo from the target around the ship is received by a directional antenna 1 of the radar system 2 and echo information 201 is obtained and supplied to an echo memory circuit 5. A radiowave is received by a navigation antenna 3 of a navigation system 4, and obtained position information 401 is supplied to a position memory circuit 12, a gyrocompass 13 supplies information of the navigation direction of the ship to a display control circuit 11. Information such as latitudes, longitudes, and lands of a desired region stored in a navigation chart memory circuit 14 is supplied to the display control circuit 11. The display control circuit 11 reads the echo signal 501, the position signal 121, and the navigation chart signal 141, forms a video signal 111, and applies the signal to an electron beam modulating electrode 9 of a CRT tube 7.
