Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of a rotary seat for a vehicle from the inside and the outside of the vehicle by installing a lever operating the stopper mechanism to both right and left sides at the lower part of the seat respectively and by connecting both levers. CONSTITUTION:An upper plate 2 is pivoted to a lower plate at a rotary shaft 3. A roller 4 allows the lower plate 1 to be installed in such a way that the lower plate 1 can be rotated in a horizontal direction. A main operation lever 7 is installed with a screw so that it may rotate horizontally and a stopper 16 is fastened to the end of a fulcrum. A claw 16a at the tip of a stopper 16 can be fitted into an interface hole 16 of the lower plate 1. The insertion of the claw 16a into the engaging hole 17 prevents the rotation of the upper plate 2. A sub-operation lever 8 is engaged with a pin 12 of a blacket 11 at the front edge of the upper plate 2 and the sub-operation lever 8 is connected to a main operation lever 7 with a connecting member 8a. With this construction the claw 16a can be connected to or removed from the engaging hole 17.
