Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the injury of a sheet and double feeding in a device equipped with a forward roller and a reverse roller, by arranging a roller whose motion follows sheet feeding motion on the same shaft of the reverse roller and making it act as both an auxiliary roller and a guide plate. CONSTITUTION:A forward roller 1 for normal driving is fitted on a driving shaft 8a, and rubber rollers 2a, 2b constituting a reverse roller 2 are fitted on a shaft 8b arranged oppositely to the drving shaft 8a. Furthermore, a driven roller 9 is set freely on the shaft 8b so that it can make relative movement to the rubber rollers 2a, 2b as it is put between the rubber rollers 2a, 2b. At the time of feeding a sheet, when the lowest sheet 3 is fed separately, a just upper sheet 4a is held in an upstream position (l) from the common center of both rollers 1, 2 by the reverse roller 2. On the other hand, as the rotation of the driven roller 9 follows the rotation of the forward roller 1, the sheet 3 is held between the rollers 1, 9 and fed without turning up or double feeding.
