Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned device whose ink rollers can be cleaned at once and which is easy to clean by a method wherein an ink transfering roller is shifted to contact with an ink feeding roller intermittently in printing and continuously in cleaning. CONSTITUTION:At the time of cleaning, the contact of the ink transferring roller 20 with the ink feeding roller 1 is discontinued, a doctor roller 2 is drawn out to the limit of engagement of gears, residual ink is collected by enlarging the aperture thereof to the roller 1, and thereafter the roller 2 is kept in contact with the roller 1. Next, adjusting lock nuts 33 are locked in to draw near an adjusting rod 30 and a supporting lever 24 is rotated around a supporting shaft 25 until a contactor 35 contacts with a stopper cam 34. The position of a shaking shaft 23 being changed thereby, the roller 20 is made to contact simultaneously with both of the roller 1 and an intermediate roller 36.
