Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent minute amplitude vibration of high frequency of an engine such as its rotary vibration from transmitting to a vehicle body by using a vortex valve generating damping force due to vortex flowing motion. CONSTITUTION:Outer walls 23, 27 made of elastic material divide a first and a second fluid chambers 36, 37, in which fluid is full. On a base plate 29 dividing both the chambers, a vortex valve 30 is fixed. On the main body 32 of the vortex valve 30, two nozzle holes 33 directing to a tangent line are formed to generate eddy in fluid. When excessive vibration is applied, eddy is generated in a vortex chamber 31 of the main body 32 due to jet from the nozzles. Consequently, pressure difference due to the eddy generates strong damping force effectively on fluid. When minute amplitude vibration occures, vibration damping force is made small. Engine rotary vibration is not transmitted to the vehicle body.
