Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the measurement of the central space at a projected part of an arc, by using a device in which one of two scribers is attached to the surface of a main scale in a vertically movable way with the other attached in an orthogonally movable way, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A main scale 10 is put close to a pair of arc surface type projected parts 2A and 2B for which the central space is measured, and scribers 14 and 11 are vertically controlled to the scale 10 in accordance with the difference of height between the parts 2A and 2B. Furthermore, the scribers 11 and 14 are controlled in the right-angled direction to the scale 10 in accordance with the difference of diameter between the parts 2A and 2B. Thus the scale 10 is set to be parallel to the central line of both projected parts when both scribers are made to touch both projected parts. Then the scriber 11 is attached at an end of the scale 10, and the scriber 14 is attached to a slider 13 that slides on the scale 10. The space between both scribers is read by the scale 10 to obtain the central space between both projected parts.
