Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain said apparatus, by providing with a heating part which heats one face of the scrap of a synthetic resin thin object and a cutter having a thermal cutting part which cuts the scrap by fusion and enabling to make the cooling means of the cutter needless and reducing the size of the apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is composed of a pedestal 2 and a rotary cutter 3 of which protruded stripe parts 4 (thermal by cut parts) embedding heaters 5 at a circular outer face 3a is provided between some intervals. The belt scrap K of synthetic resin is carried to the arrow direction L, being contacted to the circular outer face 3a of the cutter 3, and one face (upper face) of the belt scrap K is heated by the circular outer face 3a of the cutter 3, and the scrap is cut by the protruded stripe part 4, dropped into a hopper 6.
EFFECT: The belt scrap is not charged with static electricity because of thermal cutting, the shape of the cut piece M is definite and cotton dust is not produced. The cut piece can be used as the pellet as it is.
