Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a resistance welder that can evade magnetic work when welding a body to be welded, such as a reed switch, working magnetically, by providing a ferromagnetic body at a proper position in a loop surface formed of a loop-shaped current feed path for welding current. CONSTITUTION:A couple of ferromagnetic bodies A are arranged in the surface formed of a loop-shaped current feed path for the welding current of the resistance welder equipped with pressure mechanism head part 1 and current feed weld zone 2, i.e. loop path of base 5, conductive spring 6, upper supporter 7, upper electrode 3, a body to be welded, lower electrode 4, electrode rest 9, and lower supporter 8. As a result, magnetic flux generated with the welding current is absorbed by ferromagnetic bodies A effectively. Further, a magnetic field, particularly, in the vertical direction is shielded to decrease remarkably the intensity of the magnetic field at a welding part. Therefore, reed switch 11, for example, never works magnetically and force applied to switch 11 in welding can be excluded.
