Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure an operation as a repeater station, by controlling the switch mechanism when the selection signal is received and in case the signal is addressed to the own station to perform a circuit connection between the own station and the selection signal transmitting station and then performing a connection to the circuit control part of the next stage in case the signal is addressed to other station. CONSTITUTION:When the terminal device 17 selects terminal device 19, the switched to the transmission line at the side of the optical MODEM3 since the own station is not selected at the optical MODEM2. At the same time, the signal converted at the photoelectric converting circuit 8 is returned as it is to the photoelectric converting circuit 9 through the modulation/demodulation part 14 of the MODEM2.
