Abstract
PURPOSE:To flocculate impurities through agitating the water added with a slight amount of a flocculant by revolving a rotary vane with a rotary vane driving device provided on the bottom surface of a water tank, leading water flow through the suction port at the upper part, and releasing the same from the lower part of a water passage. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary vane driving device 6 is driven, a rotating shaft 8 and a rotary vane 7 rotate rapidly, and draw the water flow from above to a downward direction then release the same, hence the water near the water surface is drawn through a suction port 12 into the swirling motion of the vane 7 via a water passage 13, after which it is released to four circumferential directions. The water flowing into the suction port 12 is mostly the flow 18 sucked up from the water below the end of a water leading disc 11. Hence, when a small water tank of several m<3> capacity is used, released flow 17 strikes against the side wall of the water tank, ascends and circulates; so, the surface flow is also generated, by which agitating effect is produced. Hence, when a slight amount of a flocculant is added, impurity components are flocculated and floated or flocculated and sunk by the agitation effect, whereby the water is clarified.
