Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress click noise, by changing the intermittent part of the ringing tone stepwise by signals different in amplitude. CONSTITUTION:Decimal counter 13 outputs successively the PCM code, which is obtained by sampling sine waves from output terminals M01-M31 of memory device 11, to clocks. Memory device 41 outputs the PCM code, which is obtained by sampling sine waves having the half amplitude of the said sine waves, from terminals M02-M32. The output of intermittent ringing generator 18 is applied to waveform converter 42. Converter 42 outputs the signal from terminal E before and after output of the signal from terminal D. Consequently, the signal where the envelope of the ringing tone is changed in steps at the intermittent point is output to output terminals 19-22, and thus, click noise is suppressed sufficiently.
