Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a fluorescent material film to uniform thickness, by holding a glass tube in a drying device, blowing warm air to the upper portion of the glass tube while introducing dry gas into the inner face from both openings of the glass tube. CONSTITUTION:A glass tube 1 is suspended by the hook-shaped part of a holding tool 6 and held in a drying device 2 in such a manner that its both end openings are placed toward the lower side and the surfaces formed by both leg parts 13 of the glass tube 1 are almost parallel to a side wall panel 12 of the drying device 2. Then to a folded part 14 of the glass tube 1, warm air jetted from a hole 9 of a warm air jetting pipe 8 is blown at temperature of 40-60 deg.C. Further to the inner face of the leg part 13 in the glass tube 1, dry gas jetted from holes 11 of dry gas jetting pipes 10 is introduced from the both opening of the glass tube.
