Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a hermetic sealed battery in which efflux of electrolytic liquid is prevented, by forming on the insulator such as ceramics, a metallized layer to be used for bonding with metal and a metallized layer for the purpose of preventing the corrosion due to electrolytic liquid. CONSTITUTION:On the flat area of a ceramics ring 8, a metallized layer 10 to be used for bonding with a metal 9 and a metallized layer 11 for the purpose of preventing corrosion due to electrolytic liquid 4 are formed, and on the side making contact with electrolytic liquid 4, a metallized layer 11 for the purpose of preventing corrosion due to electrolytic liquid 4 is arranged. These metallized layers 10 and 11 and the metal 9 are bonded through brazing. As the metallized layer for bonding with metal, Mn-Mo, Mo-W, W etc. are used, and as the metallized layer for the purpose of preventing corrosion due to electrolytic liquid, precious metals such as Au, Pt, Au-Pt, Ag, etc. are used.
