Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the insulation to two points through elimination of power loss by performing the on-operation of a transistor switch by a starting resistance and the off-operation thereof by a transistor switch having a time constant circuit through a current transformer. CONSTITUTION:To a converter circuit generating DC voltage for output with provision of a transformer T1 for converting power and of a transistor switch TR1 which impresses DC input voltage on the transformer T1 intermittently are added a transistor TR2 operated for opening and closing by the time constant circuits C2 and R2 and a current transformer CT. Accordingly, the on-operation of TR1 is performed by the starting resistance R1, while the off-operation thereof is performed by a process wherein TR2 is turned on and the winding N3' of CT is short-circuited by the time constant circuits C2 and R2 connected with the secondary winding N4 of the transformer T1. Therefore, the insulation between input and output can be reduce to two points of the parts of T1 and CT, and the power loss thereof can also be reduced almost to be zero.
