Abstract

PURPOSE: To highly reliably print on electronic components and the like and to enable mass production, by a method wherein a heater is provided in, a printing bed and a squeegee whereon an object to be printed is set.
CONSTITUTION: An object 3 to be printed, such as ceramic electronic components, is positioned so that it is heated by means of a resistance heater 7, mounted at the inside of a printing board 2, with the vacuum-adsorption to a perforated plate 5 on the printing board 2. This prevents the solidification of printing ink and the inproves the plate-releasing property. A resistance heater 23 is built in a squeegee 14 mounted on a printing unit 13 which reciprocates a squeegee shaft 12. This allows printing ink adhered to the squeegee at every printing cycle to be kept in a paste state without solidification, whereby accumulation and solidification of the ink on a squeegee holder 17 and the breakage of a screen printing matrix 28 can be prevented.
