Abstract

PURPOSE: To correct directional parts into a proper direction one by one to supply them, by providing a feeder which detects the direction of the parts and has a lever and a rotary member.
CONSTITUTION: A pin 8 is supplied on a chute 9 and enters into the hole 10 of a lever 11 and is moved to a position 8a by the action of a cylinder 13 and enters into the hole 15 of a rotary member 4. Subsequently, the outer pipe 17 and rod 18 of a unit 16 descend to push down the pin 8 to a position 8b at the bottom of the hole 15. When it is detected in terms of the height difference between the outer pipe 17 and the rod 18 that the pin 8 extends in a proper direction, air is sucked through between the outer pipe 17 and the rod 18 so that the pin 8 is set on a jig 21 by the swing of an arm 19. When the pin 8 extends in the opposite direction, a rotary member 4 is turned by 180° to correct the pin 8 into the proper direction.
