Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the interior of the container from being polluted by a method wherein a thin biaxially stretched thermoplastic film is covered on an opening portion of the container and, thereafter, a heat resistant ring is inserted around said opening portion and a side portion of the opening portion is heated to shrink the film.
CONSTITUTION: An almost central portion of the film 3 is covered on the bottle opening 1a and the heat resistant ring 2 is inlaid around the bottle opening 1a from an upper portion of the film 3. Subsequently, the film is contacted with an upper surface and a side surface of the bottle opening 1a while stroked along the rise surface. Subsequently, if hot air is blower to the side surface of the bottle opening 1a from a hot air port 4 positioned at a side portion of the bottle opening 1a, only a side surface portion of the film 3 around the bottle opening 1a is shrunk and closely contacted with the bottle opening 1a. Therefore, if the heat resistant ring 2 is removed, the film 3 maintains the bottle opening 1a under a hermetically sealed condition and functions as a cap preventing the interior from being polluted. If this method is applied, the attaching and detaching of the cap for preventing the interior from being polluted can be carried out easily.
