Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable feeding either a single slip or continuous form paper with the same pitch by a method wherein a pin tractor is rotated at the same peripheral speed with a platen, a pinch roller is rotated slightly faster peripheral speed respectively in the opposite direction to the platen.
CONSTITUTION: The pin tractor 23a is provided on the side wherefrom the paper is sent in the platen 21, while the pinch roller 24a is provided on the side whereto the paper is sent out from the platen 21, and the pin tractor 23a is rotated at the same peripheral speed with the platen 21 and the pinch roller 24a at a slightly faster peripheral speed respectively in the opposite direction to the platen 21. In the case when a single slip is sent in, a pressure roller 26 which presses the paper on the platen 21 with stronger force than the pinch roller 26 is provided. By this, the feeding with the same pitch both of the single slip and the continuous form paper is made possible, whereby the exchangeability is obtained for the design of the format for slips. In addition, since the paper is closely fitted on the platen 21, the quality of printing is also improved.
