Abstract

PURPOSE:To unify uneven phase of the modulated light given from a light emitting element, by locating a bent optical fiber on the optical path reaching a photodetector from the light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:The modulated light sent from the light emitting element 1 forms an image at the part A through the condenser lens 2. The reflection preventing plates 4 and 5 are adhered across the optical fiber 3 via the adhesive, and the end face of the incident side is positioned at the image forming point A of the luminous flux which passed throug the lens 2. The luminous flux going out of the fiber 3 turns into the parallel luminous flux through the objet lens 6 to hit the object substance. In this case, the modulated light from the element 1 is reflected repetively in the fiber 3 since the fiber 3 is being bent. During the process of reflection, the uneven phase due to the position of the light emitting surface is unified. In such constitution, the uneven phase of the modulated light is unified.
