Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the yoke of the DC motor and to improve the cooling effect of a stator coil by connecting laminated stator pieces in a plurality of ring shape thereby forming a stator and winding the stator coil on a linear part provided at the stator. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of laminated stator pieces 7' are connected in a plurality of ring shape thereby forming the stator 7, and the stator coil 8 is wound on the linear part formed at the stator 7. The stator 7 wound with the stator coil 8 is arranged around an armature 1, and is clamped and tightened with a front cover 5 and an end cover 6 by bolts 10. Thus, it can eliminate the yoke, and can cool the stator coil 8 directly with the external air. Since the stator coil 8 can be wound in multiple number of the linear part of the stator 7, its outer size can be reduced.
