Abstract
PURPOSE:To absorb impact efficiently by a method wherein when a colliding body moving with a magnet has reached an intended position current is supplied to an exciting coil and repulsive force is acted on the magnet. CONSTITUTION:When a colliding member 11 moves in an arrow direction and collides with an operating lever 2, a magnet incorporated with the operating lever 2 moves in a case 3 in the same direction and a contact point switching member 6 installed at one section of the magnet 1 comes in collision with a contact point member 7 and closes it. Then, current is supplied to an exciting coil and the magnet 1 begins repelling a york 8. Accordingly, a damping effect occurs and the kinetic energy of the colliding member 11 is absorbed approximately. Subsequently, when the magnet 1 approaches the york 8 and the contact point member 7 is made, supply of current to the exciting coil 9 is interrupted and the magnet 1 is attracted to the york 8 and stops.
