Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a compact heat-recording head which can record at a higher speed and is useful for the scan circuit of a heat-sensitive record by allowing an integrated-circuit equivalent to a diode chip to contain a drive circuit and a picture signal-distributing circuit to eliminate a matrix wiring. CONSTITUTION:After the picture signal of M bits is inputted to a shift register 29 of an integrated-circuit chip 19a, an integrated-circuit chip 19b in the next step is selected by the action of a D flip-flop 32, and the picture signal is inputted. When the lth integrated-circuit chip 19l is similarly filled with the picture signal, the clock stops, and consequently the transfer of the picture signal is interrupted. Inputting an energizing pulse signal T having a pulse width corresponding to a given energizing time to an energizing pulse signal input terminal 24 after the clock stops allows the heating resistors connected to the integrated-circuit chips 19a-19l to be heated corresponding to the picture signal to record.
