Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the troubles of reflected light encountered when the angle of flat mirror is changed at the time of repairing concave mirror or heat collection pipe by a simplified constitution for a solar energy-utilizing device in which solar energy is reflected by a large number of flat mirrors and collected at a light-focusing concave mirror for heat collection.
CONSTITUTION: A large number of flat reflecting mirrors, provided at such a angle that solar energy 1 is reflected and collected, are arranged on a base stand 2, and a heat collection pipe 6 is provided at the focusing position of a parabolically curved mirror 5 at which reflected light 4 from the flat reflecting mirror 3 is further reflected and collected. In such a solar energy utilizing device, for repairing the curved mirror 5 or the heat collection pipe 6 being damaged, reflected light 4 from the mirror 3 is temporarily out of the curved mirror 5. In this case, in order to prevent completely various troubles with reflected light 4, a shield plate 20 made of a heat- resistant material and capable of absorbing reflected light 4 is provided at the lower part of the base stand 8 of the curved mirror 5.
