Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a screen which prevents the metallic foil from wrinkles and cracks, by sealing and exhausting air between the female mold having the forming surface which is minutely uneven and the metallic foil, and after that, by pressing and forming the metallic foil through the elastic body having the thick center.
CONSTITUTION: The metallic foil 1 is placed on the female mold 2 so that its mirror surface side is made to oppose the mold, and the sapce between them is airtighltly sealed by pressing its margin by the holding plate 6. Subsequently, after air has been exhausted from the exhaust port 4, formation is performed by pressing said part by use of the pressing member 9. After that, when the pressing member 9 is raised, since the elastic body 7 is formed as a spherical surface having the thick center, pressure is released gradully from the margin of the elastic body 7, and the elasticity is gradually restored to the original state. Accordingly, the large elasticity restoring force does not occur widthwise in the marginal part of the elastic body, as well, and no wrinkle nor crack does not occur in the metallic foil. After that, after the pressing member 9 has been removed, rapid cured resin is applied on the surface of the metallic foil 1, is hardened, and subsequently the metallic foil 1 is separated from the female mold 2 by releasing the vacuum and blowing in air from the exhaust port 4.
