Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a device capable of continuous heat transferring by a method wherein an ink ribbon is accommodated within a cartridge and a ribbon winding roller and a pressurizing roller are driven in connection in a heat transferring recording device utilizing the ink ribbon for heat transferring. CONSTITUTION:A heat transferring ribbon 1 is delivered and wound by a delivery roller 2 and a winding roller 2' inserted rotatably within cylindrical bearing sections 3, 3' of a cartridge. At recording, the cartridge is mounted so that a pressurizing roller 5 is positioned above an opening section of the cartridge while a thermal head 7 is positioned below the cartridge and after a recording paper 8 is set between the pressurizing roller 5 and the ink ribbon 1, the pressurizing roller 5 is retated to effect the heat transferring onto the recording paper 8 by the thermal head 7. The recording paper is sent to an after-treatment section 10 by the pressurizing roller 5 while the ink ribbon 1 is retrieved by the winding roller 2' rotating together with the pressurizing roller 5.
