Abstract

PURPOSE: To nullify the necessity of battery exchange by a method wherein a generation set to generate electric power by the movement of an arm of a user is installed in an electronic wrist watch and a secondary battery within a watch is charged.
CONSTITUTION: An annular magnet 2 is fixed at the bottom of a housing 1 of a wrist watch and an annular permanent magnet 3 which is structured with an insulating material 4 at its central part and is arranged on its surface with a coil 5 formed with photoetching is fixed at the upper part of the housing 1. Magnets 2, 3 are magnetized having mutual inverse polarities and are operating along with a magnetized part 6a of a magnet disk 6 to hold the magnet disk 6 in the space. At the inner circumference part of the magnet disk 6, a multipolarity magnetized multipolarity magnetized part 6b is installed against the coil 5 in the perpendicular direction and by means of a weight 8 to make an inertial balance unbalanced and a heel piece 7, voltage is induced in the coil 5 when an arm of a user is vibrated. This voltage charges the secondary battery in the watch, thus, supplying electricity to a movement of a watch.
