Abstract
PURPOSE:To make easier the selection of spring constant and the prevention of anomalous sound at the time of operation by forming a cylindrical coil at the central portion of a spring and forming a truncated conical coil with reduced cross section and diameter toward its end portion. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical coil 7 of the central portion of a coil spring is formed by plurally winding the same diameter wire material 9 of a circular cross section into the same coil diameter D2, and furthermore a wire material 9' of a cross section reducing continuously and gradually from the end of a cylindrical coil 7 toward an end coil 10 is wound in such a way that the diameter is gradually reduced from a coil diameter D3 to a coil diameter D4<n> and also a truncated conical coil 8 meeting the mutual relativity is formed by winding in such a way that the adjacent coil wires 9' are mutually positioned in a flat swirl state at the time of maximum loading.
